1. Platonic Solid Set as Pendant Lights
One of our most inspiring projects was with a client deeply captivated by the elegance and symbolism of the Platonic solids. Each solid—a unique, symmetrical 3D shape—carries both an artistic beauty and profound meaning, symbolising the classical elements and connecting geometry to the natural world.
Our client wanted to bring these forms into their space through custom lights that would serve as more than just functional pieces, but as expressions of harmony, order, and aesthetic perfection.
Together, we curated a series of pendant lights to represent each of the five Platonic solids: the tetrahedron, hexahedron, octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedron. Each light was meticulously crafted, with glass carefully selected to enhance the reflective qualities and capture the intricate geometry of each form. The dodecahedron, for instance, with its twelve faces, radiates a warm glow, creating a sense of balance, while the octahedron casts mesmerizing shadows that add depth and intrigue.
In the final installation, the lights not only transformed the space but also created an environment infused with meaning and beauty. The client now has a personal sanctuary where each piece resonates with ancient wisdom and modern design—a reminder of the order and artistry found in nature's own geometry. This project stands out as a testament to the power of light, form, and intention coming together in perfect symmetry.
2. Rose Gold Beauty
One of our most memorable projects involved a client with a passion for modern elegance and a love for the subtle warmth of rose gold. They commissioned a custom geometric pendant light, featuring carefully chosen rose-gold-tinted glass that, once crafted, became a true focal point.
When installed, the pendant transformed the entire space. As light passes through the rose gold glass, it casts an intricate dance of reflections and shapes across the surrounding walls and ceiling, creating a geometric tapestry.
3. Extra Large Inverted Dodecaheron Custom Pendant Light
One of our most striking installations was a custom creation for a Victorian restaurant called The Emerald City. The restaurant sought a show-stopping piece to captivate guests from the moment they stepped inside. For this, we crafted a giant inverted dodecahedron pendant light—a geometric masterpiece!
This oversized dodecahedron, with its twelve pentagonal faces, was designed to hang as an inverted, eye-catching focal point in the main dining area. Each glass pane was selected to bring out a vibrant, emerald-green hue, echoing the restaurant's namesake and theme. When illuminated, the pendant cast stunning geometric reflections throughout the space, creating intricate light patterns that shift and play off the restaurant’s surfaces.
